Colgate Baby Toothbrush

Colgate’s First Baby Toothbrush is the brand’s new product that expands Colgate’s strong expertise in oral care into a new segment dedicated to infants and toddlers. Our approach to this challenge was to generate fun cartoon characters for kids to interact with their first toothbrush. The ideation phase was a fun process of exploring new shapes and characters that would engage children into their daily oral cleaning routines.

Not only did we need to generate fun concepts for kids to connect with, but we also had to adhere to strict safety and engineering standards that would ensure the products’ successful launch to market. Thanks to our creative and technical capabilities we were able to work closely with Colgate in order to ensure we delivered a successful design that incorporates functional features for this age group.

The final design is both a Training toothbrush and Teether toy that integrates a fun butterfly character with flexible handles for tiny hands to hold and soft gentle bristles that help ease the pain of teething.
